I did this layout for the January Monthly design challenge at Scrapbooking Top 50

I used only one sheet of the new Sea Blue cardstock and then using a template drew (with water colour pencils) the scalloped line in, coloured it slightly and then smudged it. Just so it gave that look of having the extra dimension there.

The strips are from theKaiser Craft Esthers Guestlist, and you can see how well they co ordinate with the cardstock.

The title is made up of black alphabet rub on letters these packets have a great range of sizes and are sooooo easy to use, they go on so well even over the texture of the cardstock and then straight over the photo.

The journaling block is a Kaiser rub on and so are the little car and plane that I added to circles. I raised the circles with magic mount to give dimension and I did the same with the sub heading, which is another Kaiser rub on.

At the bottom of the page I finished it off with an ant trail, notice how they even go over the super size brads

So really with one sheet of cardstock, a few rub ons and some scraps together with two fuzzy photos I have a keepsake of this very special time in their relationship!
