Avie says;

Hi my name is Avie and I was fortunate to go away for the weekend to do some scrapbooking with my dear friend Marilyn and a lovely group of ladies.

I wanted to do a LO of my girls and I didn't have any papers that I thought would be suitable. Lucky for me LeAnne from Joyful Scraps brought along these new papers from Scenic Route. They are just beautiful and when I saw them I just knew they would be perfect! This LO is a result of these beautiful papers!

For the base of my LO, I used the Sonoma Pink Garland Kraft. For my flowers I cut up the Sonoma Melody Lane daisies. This was so easy to do because the paper is just so easy to cut. It feels more like cardstock. Anyway, after I cut out the flowers I cut through each petal and gently bent them up to give them some dimension. I added some brads and then I placed the daisies on top of the flowers which are printed on the Pink Garland Kraft base of my LO. I tried to make it look like a garden of blooms. Some flowers I used either 1, 2 or 3 layers of foam adhesive.
I have a few more ideas for these papers.
{We can't wait to see what you come up with next Avie! Thank you for sharing with us- LeAnne}
