Celebrate Yum, LeAnne writes;
Who doesn't love a birthday cake?
Even though I made this as a double page 12 x 12 it could easily be two single 12 x 12 as each page seems to have acquired its own title LOL!
My gorgeous grandson turned one and so we celebrated in style with a cake he could demolish, the photos are just too cute.
I used 3 Bugs in a Rug, Playtime rangefor the patterned paper, because it is double sided you can get 4 patterns from the two sheets. The Celebrate title is from Lil Davis and the Yum title is chipboard that I inked with broken china distress ink and then used kindyglitz to give the sparkle.
I used lots of chipboard and magic mount to lift up some of the photos and elements to make sure that it had plenty of dimension.
To keep the layout contained I used the threading water punch by Fiskars to make the outside scallop and then repeated the scallop again and doodled on it with black pen.
I really wanted a photo corner that would cover all of the bottom of the right hand page but as I didn't have one on hand I made it with chipboard covered it with the paper and then added the Ki Memories surprise rub ons to give it a finishing touch. I also added rub ons to photos the journalling etc.
Only some of the photos and elements are inked on the left hand page but everything except the scallop borders are inked on the right.
