I love Foof a la products, so decided to use part of the Summer kit. I chose the blue, yellow & red papers as they had very similar patterns and were very subtle as I really wanted the photos to stand out.
I had a lot of fun with this layout and using the Grungeboard. I inked it white and then dragged a silver ink pad over the top to catch the embossed swirls. This echoed the pattern in the paper and added focus and texture to the page. (The Grungeboard is quite flexible so was easy to manouver into the exact position I wanted it).
I used some of the Summer brads in the die cut label holder (also from the kit) and some of the other tags from the kit were used for embellishment rather than function. To bring your eye back to the last photo I used the gel embellishment also from the kit.
The whole layout was put onto white cardstock to blend with the white pattern in the print paper. My journalling and heading were done on the computer and printed onto transparency so the pattern on the tag still showed through. I still have a stack of paper and tags left over as well as rubs on and ribbon which I have not touched yet from the Foof a la Summer kit. It really is great value for money and I can't wait to use the rest of it.
