Growing up, PeaBee writes;

My youngest daughter has quite curly hair and the last holidays she really wanted it cut. She had just turned 10 and so while I was having mine cut, so was she (without me saying anything).

She appeared by my side and I almost didn't recognise her...Kelli had straightened her hair while drying it. Got home, took photos and in a couple of hours it was back to its curly self again.

I used the Foof-a-la range of papers on cream cardstock. I cut strips of the red , and bird paper and tore the edges. The yellow paper was just cut to fit the photos and complement the background colours in the phptos. I love the red, it is soft yet still makes a point, so i used it to frame the photo of the back of her head by covering a chipboard circle.

From the floral sheet, I cut out the large flowers and raised them up with magic mount. I placed three of the Summer range brads through their centres for more dimension.

The black Heidi Swapp chipboard letters made the statement I wanted without overpowering the page. I had thought about sanding them and painting them red also, but am glad I decided not to.

I used the black 7 gypsies rub ons for some more texture and did my journaling with my black zig writer on the 7 gypsies evidence card, which tucked in nicely amongst the other elements.
