Home, PeaBee writes;
I was attracted to this Jenni Bowlin range the first time I saw it, but did not think at the time that I had any photos to suit. The other day I was going through an old album I started when we first got married (long before I started scrapping) to document our first home and thought these photos would work.
Our home was covered in a lot of green, so rather than using green paper I wanted to go a bit olde worlde as our home was built in the early 1900’s.
I used Vintage Red Floral paper, Home Bingo Card, Vintage Black Ledger paper and Red Label Die Cut on Kraft cardstock. I got a bit crafty and cut out the inside of one half of the Red label and placed it over some coordinating spot from my stash. I used the Bingo card as a mat for one of the photos and the Black ledger as a mat for a photo of an old receipt we found behind some skirting in the kitchen, it also served well as a place for my journaling.
On the left page I cut out part of the floral design from the Vintage Red Floral and put that over the rest of the red spot. I used the other half of the Red label along the base of the page and a mat for the other photos.
I finished off the page with Heidi Swapp Black velvet flowers and red brads in the centre, Heidi Swapp Black newsprint Chipboard letters for the heading and Dear Diary Black & Cream Journaling Tape by Collage Press for other details. The tape measure ribbon is from my stash.
