Can you see I like simple layouts, you get so much more done when you simplify. This was all about our playgroup trip to Waratah Park in June 2000.
I have left off the journaling for now, but it is due to go in the pink lined box to the right.
I used Chocolate cardstock as my base and Love Elsie Betty Petticoat & Betty Shower, as they are both double sided, you get so much more out of them. They had that childlike look to them and the doodling was very "jumpy" which was great for a page on kangaroos and a little miss who just got right in amongst them - no fear.
I must admit I was very careful not to move too quickly and after she had petted and cuddled, got her out of there, just in case they decided she really wasn't one of them after all. I think that because they are so used to visitors and she was so small and not much of a threat, they were gentle with her.
To add a touch of brightness to finish off the page I used a bit of the small scalloped white cardstock and the American Crafts thickers also in white. They have a bit of depth to them so the page is not completely flat.
