This Boy, LeAnne writes;

When I did this photo shoot I was amazed at just how grown up my youngest son had become. He is the baby of the family and yet he seems to be whizzing through his childhood.

In these photos he is wearing his favourite football shirt and while it is still to big, his attitude seems to fill it out!

The paper is K & Co, school rules topped with scraps of Basic Grey . I had a left over strip from the Superhero, Stuntman that was perfect for the space, I just added a few saftey pins. I tore a page out of the Making Memories Journaling book ripped it in half to form more layers. The green from the journaling page was the same as the green in the ink. So even though Distress Ink isnt great for stamping with acrylic stamps I wanted the colour. I actually like the bubbly effect that it gives, I hadn't counted on the big blobs but I left them as they add to the effect of boy messiness.

The journaling block is from the K & Co blue awning range I inked the edges with the Peeled paint,distress ink I also used the ink to colour up the stars that are part of the Grungeboard swirl elements. The whole page is finished off by inking right around the edges.

The originator of this layout was a layout that I saw in Creating Keepsakes September magazine, by Maggie Holmes, so with a few scraps and a couple of photos hey presto one scraplifted layout!
